Book and Brew is up for a Northern Blog Award and I need your help to win.
It’s not grim up north
The Northern Blog Awards is a brand new accolade that recognises the talents of bloggers in the north of England.
Its mission is to raise the profile of bloggers in this neck of the woods, which the organisers believe are still overlooked in favour of our friends in the south. We have a lot to offer in the north and the Northern Blog Awards are all about showcasing the treasures of our region.
There are more than ten categories in the Northern Blog Awards from health and beauty to travel and parenting. Book and Brew is shortlisted in the arts/culture/literature category alongside four other great contenders.
Over 7,000 bloggers entered the Northern Blog Awards so it’s a real privilege to make the cut.
Cast your vote
So, I need your help. The winners are selected through a combination of a judges’ and public vote. The judges’ vote is worth 60% and the public get a 40% say.
I would be forever grateful if you could cast your vote for Book and Brew.
You can vote in the other categories too – just remember to hit bookandbrew.net in the arts/culture/literature line-up. Voting closes on 31 July.
This is a very exciting time for Book and Brew and it really is fantastic to get this far. But, it would be ever nicer to take home an inaugural Northern Blog Award to top off a brilliant 2017.
Stephen and I are heading to the awards do in Manchester in September. It would be lovely to take an award home but I’ll be practising my graceful loser face for the next two months just in case.
Thanks in advance for your votes (and sorry for the inevitable vote harassment that will take place over the next month!)
